We are very pleased to announce that Julia Baier has joined UP. Julia lives and works in Berlin and brings a quirky and original style of photography — often involving water — to the group. She says:
“For about 20 years now I have been to just about every place where you can get wet: lakes and beaches, swimming and paddling pools, saunas, hot springs and sentō, from Japan to Hungary, from Iceland to Lithuania. This journey around the globe is my personal anthem to water, and to those who enjoy it as much as I do.”

A Tribute to Jill Freedman
All of us at UP Photographers are very sorry to hear the sad news about the death of Jill Freedman. Jill was a force of nature, serious about everything she did, whether it was politics or making you laugh. One of New York’s greatest photographers, the world lost an amazing, one of a kind today. We all raise our glasses to you, Jill (as we are sure you would want us to do.) Cheers to the good times, the great photos and to you; love and light on your next journey.
