After obtaining her master’s degree in art history (Université Lumière Lyon II, University of Pennsylvania), Eléonore Simon (French-American) moved to New York City. There, she began taking a camera on strolls throughout the city, worked as a studio manager and served as a teaching assistant at the International Center of Photography.
Eléonore currently lives in Valparaíso, Chile where she is developing street photography and documentary projects. Her work has been exhibited in the United States, in Europe and in Asia and has received multiple awards, including Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Emerging Photographers Competition and the Latin American Fotografía award.
She was a speaker at Street London (representing Women in Street), Street Photo Milano and the Miami Street Photography Festival where she was a competition judge. Eléonore is a member of Hans Lucas Latin America.
