WHO?
My name is Sittichai Maikupandin, but people also know me as Sitti Maiku.
WHAT?
I started street photography intensively in 2018. At first, everything around me was exciting, so I took tons of photos, but I wasn’t sure whether those photos were good or bad; As time passed, I gradually pressed the camera shutter and focused more on what I saw around me thoroughly. Finally, I found out even a most ordinary place has something interesting.
WHERE?
I grew up and was born in Downtown Bangkok. I like strolling around my neighborhood, especially in Bangkok’s old city. When walking, I always observe uncommon things.
WHEN?
Whenever I’m sick of sitting in front of a computer, I like taking my camera outside. Because I don’t need to concentrate on anything else when taking pictures, I feel relaxed. I don’t plan on shooting photos as I believe the best moments always happen when we expect less.
WHY?
Street photography opened my eyes to the world. I am happier as more unique scenes I will discover. I hope people can understand what I want to communicate via my photographs.
