WHO?
I’m a almost 38 years old photographer, based in Paris, France. A cinema and stand up comedy enthusiast. I’m also a big fan of sports (basketball, football and many others). I’m a Olympique de Marseille & Golden State Warriors fan. I love discovering sports arenas to watch my teams (or just sports). I love some American authors like Fitzgerald, Auster, Bukowski, Shteyngart, Baldwin, Ellis and I would love to read more but I prefer watching movies.
WHERE?
Everywhere! I try to get my camera most of the time with me, even when i’m going to cinema or grocery store. Otherwise, I begin to travel a lot when I started photography. I love going to USA because since I’m young I’m fascinated by this country, first of all through NBA league and I developed this interest about everything (photography, literature, politics, geography, history…) I also fall in love with Istanbul, and I can’t wait to go back there.
WHEN?
When the weather is good! More seriously, I prefer when the light is in the game but living in Paris, I have to play in other conditions too. At home, it’s more during my week-end because I’m going to work in bicycle so it’s not very comfortable. And a lot during my trips abroad, clearly, I’m mostly inspired during these moments, I guess it’s because it’s not my routine.
WHAT?
At the beginning, I was confined by rules. I had to have people in my frame. Sometimes I was taking pictures without people but I was keeping them for myself. And progressively, I open my mind and don’t care about “rules.”
WHY?
Because, now, I’m an addict. Always looking for interesting moments, colors, contradictions, stories, observations… I’m trying to reveal the beauty of the everyday things and life. I’m also doing photography to show people what they don’t take the time to see.
